Course Overview: This two-part course is designed for experienced shooters who want to become NRA Certified Instructors in the Basic Pistol discipline. It includes both the Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and the NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course. Upon successful completion, you'll be certified to teach NRA Basic Pistol courses to students.
Day 1: Basic Instructor Training (BIT) Learn the NRA's standardized teaching methodology, lesson planning, and student evaluation techniques. This is a prerequisite for all NRA instructor certifications.
Day 2: NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course Dive into pistol knowledge, safe handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and how to effectively teach students in both classroom and live-fire settings.

Must complete and pass the pre-course qualification, including:
Basic firearm safety knowledge
Marksmanship skills (live-fire exercise) 150rounds and servicable pistol
Written exam
Must be at least 21 years old
